I like to prepare meals for people more than for myself, for some reason. More satisfying in a way, when people enjoy the food you've cooked. Plus there's not much you can do for just one stomach, the whole consuming meal in solitary silence has never been as fun as serving a whole hungry horde.
I used to cook a lot for my exes, probably was the reason they all seemed to balloon a bit after meeting me. I love food with a burning passion, the men I love more often than not share those sentiments too.
So I'm actually single now. With a brand new puppy who eats almost everything. She's been such a joy to feed, yesterday I actually went and made this for her lunch:
It actually looks fancier than it really is... Just a piece of raw chicken breast (with bone in) on a tiny bed of chopped green apple (Alyx is crazy for those and carrots) topped off with a blob of yogurt.
All in the presentation, she gets the yogurt as an occasional supplement to her raw diet, and the apples are just treats that she cannot have in large amounts.
Am now planning the next gourmet-looking offering for my toothy little "defender". Next one featuring chewy beef cubes and boiled carrot...
